If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Fields and the surrounding Harney County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Fields, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Fields — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Fields customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Fields or the surrounding Harney County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Oregon involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Fields, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Oregon environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Fields is an unincorporated community in Harney County, Oregon, located 112 miles south of Burns and positioned between Denio, Nevada to the south and Frenchglen, Oregon to the north. The community was established in 1881 when Charles Fields built a homestead and stagecoach roadhouse to serve travelers on the route between Winnemucca, Nevada, and Burns. The original stone roadhouse still stands today, having been remodeled into a store and restaurant operated as Fields Station, a family-owned business that serves as the center of commerce for local ranches. A post office opened in 1913, and a one-room school was established around 1900.
The area's history extends beyond Fields' founding. Ranching began in 1869 with the establishment of Whitehorse Ranch, while the Rose Valley Borax Company processed crystallized borax between 1892 and 1902, with Chinese workers extracting alkali from evaporated spring water. Today, the community consists of a store, cafe, bar, gas station, school, campground, and several houses, with fewer than twenty-five residents within a one-mile radius of the main store. Fields experiences a continental desert climate, averaging under seven inches of precipitation annually, making it among Oregon's driest places. The area attracts outdoor enthusiasts, including hunters, fishers, and photographers interested in nearby Steens Mountain and the publicly accessible hot springs. Local wildlife includes pronghorn, mule deer, elk, bighorn sheep, and various game birds and fish.
