Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Estill Springs customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Estill Springs or the surrounding Franklin County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.

Estill Springs is a town in Franklin County in Middle Tennessee, with a population of 2,694 according to a revised 2020 census count. The town is commonly called simply "Estill" by those who live there and is part of the Winchester Micropolitan Statistical Area.
The area's mineral springs were known to the Cherokee people long before European settlement. Indigenous cultures had inhabited the region for thousands of years prior. The European-American town began around 1840 when the Frank Estill family, prominent landowners in the area, donated a right-of-way for railroad construction. The combination of mineral waters, which were valued as health remedies during that era, and access to rail transportation led to the development of a small spa town bearing the Estill family name. Oscar Meyer served as the town's first mayor.
During the Civil War, the settlement was known as Allisonia, named after another local family. It hosted Camp Harris, a Confederate training camp named for Isham G. Harris, Tennessee's Confederate governor and a native of Franklin County. Southern forces passed through during the 1863 Tullamba Campaign, and remnants of a Civil War bridge foundation remain visible near the Beth Page bridge crossing the Elk River.
The popularity of spring bathing and drinking eventually declined. Local tradition holds that the construction of U.S. Route 41A through town in 1940 caused the springs to dry up. By mid-century, the spa era had ended and the hotels were demolished. The new highway provided economic connections to neighboring communities and positioned Estill Springs on the main route between Nashville and Chattanooga, while Tennessee Valley Authority dam projects created recreational opportunities through local lakes.
