A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Butler, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Butler — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Butler customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Butler or the surrounding Johnson County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Tennessee involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Butler, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Tennessee environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Butler is an unincorporated community nestled in Johnson County in Tennessee's northeastern corner, situated along the northern shore of Watauga Lake. The community traces its roots to 1768 when settlement began along Roan Creek at its confluence with the Watauga River. For many years it was known as Smith's Mill, named after the gristmill that Ezekial "Zeke" Smith built on the creek's bank in 1820. Following the Civil War, the town was renamed to honor Colonel Roderick R. Butler of Johnson County, a Union Army commander in the 13th Tennessee Cavalry who served in the state legislature.
Butler developed into a thriving community with educational and cultural institutions. Aenon Seminary, established in 1871, evolved into Holly Spring College, eventually enrolling as many as 200 students. In 1906 the school was purchased by the Watauga Baptist Association and renamed Watauga Academy, operating under that name until 1948. The town gained further distinction as the birthplace of U.S. Representatives B. Carroll Reece and Robert R. Butler, grandson of the town's namesake.
The original town's location along Roan Creek made it vulnerable to frequent flooding. When the Tennessee Valley Authority constructed Watauga Dam beginning in 1942, the resulting Watauga Lake threatened Butler's existence. In 1948, as waters rose, the entire town was relocated to higher ground in a massive undertaking involving construction of nearly 55 miles of roads, three bridges, and the relocation of 1,281 graves. Today, Butler is remembered through annual Old Butler Days celebrations and a local museum commemorating the town's remarkable history.
