If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Berlin and the surrounding Coos County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Berlin, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Berlin — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Berlin customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Berlin or the surrounding Coos County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in New Hampshire involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Berlin, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all New Hampshire environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Berlin is the only city in Coös County, New Hampshire, and sits as the state's northernmost city along the Androscoggin River. With a population of 9,425 at the 2020 census, Berlin is located in the North Country region at the edge of the White Mountains, with its boundaries extending into the White Mountain National Forest. The city is home to several cultural and educational institutions, including the Berlin and Coos County Historical Society's Moffett House Museum and Genealogy Center, the Berlin Fish Hatchery, and White Mountains Community College.
Berlin's history stretches back thousands of years, when Native Americans camped in the area and Eastern Abenaki tribes mined rhyolite from Mt. Jasper. Originally granted as Maynesborough in 1771, the settlement was finally established in 1823 by William Sessions and Cyrus Wheeler, who came from Maine. The town developed into a logging and wood-processing center, with water power from the Androscoggin River driving sawmills. The arrival of the railroad in 1851 and the establishment of major mills in the 1850s and 1880s spurred growth, drawing immigrants from Russia, Norway, Finland, Italy, Sweden, Ireland, Germany, and French Canada.
Berlin became known for its pulp and paper industry in the early twentieth century, though this declined significantly over time. In 1872, Scandinavian residents founded the nation's oldest ski club, later renamed the Nansen Ski Club. After the pulp mills closed in 2006, economic development shifted toward correctional facilities, with two major institutions now employing hundreds of residents.
