A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Bakersfield, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Bakersfield — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Bakersfield customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Bakersfield or the surrounding Franklin County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Vermont involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Bakersfield, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Vermont environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Bakersfield is a town in southeastern Franklin County, Vermont, with a population of 1,273 according to the 2020 census. Located in an area of 44.6 square miles, the town is traversed by Vermont Route 108, which connects northward to Enosburg Falls and southward to Jeffersonville. The unincorporated village of Bakersfield sits at the town's center, with Vermont Route 36 providing a western route to St. Albans, the county seat. The landscape is marked by the Cold Hollow Mountains along the eastern edge, which reach a high point of 3,261 feet. The area drains into the Missisquoi River watershed, ultimately flowing to Lake Champlain.
The town's history began in 1791 when Joseph Baker of Massachusetts purchased 10,000 acres and established the settlement that would bear his name. Early development included grist and saw mills built by Baker in 1794 and a tavern constructed by Stephen Maynard two years later. By 1804, five acres had been deeded for a town common and burying ground, and by 1840, the population had grown to 1,258 residents.
Bakersfield became known as an "old academy town," earning recognition for its educational institutions. The Bakersfield Academy opened in 1840 and grew to serve 271 students by 1851. Later, Brigham Academy was established in 1879 with substantial endowments from Peter Bent Brigham and his sister Sarah Brigham Jacobs. Notable alumni include Warren Austin, who became the first United States ambassador to the United Nations and a U.S. senator.
