A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Ayer, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Ayer — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Ayer customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Ayer or the surrounding Middlesex County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Massachusetts involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Ayer, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Massachusetts environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Ayer is a town in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, that grew from humble beginnings into an important regional hub. Originally part of Groton, it was settled by English colonists as early as 1667, when a mill was built along the Nonacoicus Brook to serve a small hamlet. The community became known as South Groton and later Groton Junction before being incorporated as the town of Ayer on February 14, 1871. The town was named in honor of Dr. James Cook Ayer, a wealthy pharmaceutical manufacturer from Lowell who funded the construction of the Town Hall.
Ayer's growth was shaped largely by railroad development. Despite covering only 9.5 square miles, the town became a major commercial railroad junction for both east-west and north-south rail lines, developing into an important center oriented around the rail industry. The town's strategic location also made it significant for military purposes. During the American Civil War, Camp Stevens served as a training camp for Massachusetts volunteers. Later, the federal government established Fort Devens to train New England soldiers for World War I. Though Fort Devens closed in the mid-1990s and is considerably smaller now, it remains a major influence on the area.
The land that became Ayer was originally inhabited by the Nashaway, a Nipmuc people who lived along the Nashua River and its tributaries. The arrival of English settlers, along with epidemic diseases and conflicts like King Philip's War in 1675, devastated the Native American communities. Today, Ayer has a population of 8,479 according to the 2020 census.
