There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Accokeek, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Accokeek — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Accokeek customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Accokeek or the surrounding Prince Georges County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Maryland involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Accokeek, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Maryland environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Accokeek, whose name means "at the edge of the hill" in Algonquin, is a census-designated place in Prince George's County, Maryland, situated on the Potomac River approximately 17 miles from Washington. The area has been inhabited for thousands of years, with evidence of Native American presence dating back to around 2000 BCE. The Piscataway tribe established the first permanent village around 1200 AD at Moyaone, which served as their governmental seat. Captain John Smith became the first European to visit the area in 1608 when he sailed the Potomac River, though the Piscataway eventually migrated before other European settlers arrived.
In the mid-17th century, European farmers began purchasing large tracts of land, leading to conflicts with Native Americans over agricultural practices. Between 1675 and 1682, Native Americans were forced from the region after losing these battles. By 1861, Accokeek had developed into a rural agricultural community centered on tobacco cultivation, with slavery deeply embedded in its economy. The area sympathized with the Confederacy during the Civil War, and Confederate spies operated in the region.
The twentieth century brought significant preservation efforts. Henry and Alice Ferguson purchased Hard Bargain Farm in 1922, and between 1935 and 1939, Alice Ferguson conducted archaeological excavations that uncovered a demolished Susquehannock fort. In 1957, Senator Frances P. Bolton established the Accokeek Foundation to preserve the area. A major conservation victory came in 1961 when President John F. Kennedy signed legislation designating 133 acres as a national landmark, protecting the shoreline from industrial development. Accokeek officially became a census-designated place in 1990, with a population of 13,927 as of the 2020 census.
