If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Zigzag and the surrounding Clackamas County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Zigzag, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Zigzag — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Zigzag customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Zigzag or the surrounding Clackamas County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Oregon involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Zigzag, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Oregon environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Zigzag is an unincorporated community in Clackamas County, Oregon, situated in the Mount Hood Corridor between Rhododendron and Welches along U.S. Route 26. As one of the villages making up the Villages at Mount Hood, it stretches from the Sandy border toward Government Camp. The community takes its name from the nearby Zigzag River, a tributary of the Sandy River, which itself flows into the Columbia River.
The area's distinctive name likely comes not from the river's course, but from the zigzag manner of crossing Zigzag Canyon near Mount Hood's timberline. Pioneer Joel Palmer documented this challenging passage on October 11, 1845, describing in his journal how travelers would turn sharply right, zigzag downward about one hundred yards, then turn around and zigzag again, repeating this pattern until reaching the canyon's base. This crossing would become well-known to fellow travelers on what became the Barlow Road.
Zigzag's more recent history includes the establishment of a post office in 1917, which operated intermittently until 1974, though it was temporarily relocated to present-day Rhododendron. The community is home to several notable structures, including the 1935 Zigzag Ranger Station, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, also a registered historic property, once stood in the Zigzag area. The rustic log structures reflect the regional building tradition, with the ZigZag Inn built by William John Lenz, who constructed many other significant buildings throughout the area.
