If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.

A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Sandy, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Sandy — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Sandy customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Sandy or the surrounding Clackamas County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Oregon involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Sandy, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Oregon environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Sandy, located in Clackamas County about 27 miles east of Portland, sits in the foothills of the Cascade Mountain Range and serves as the western gateway to the Mount Hood Corridor. The city was settled around 1853 by Francis and Lydia Revenue, who were drawn to the area's abundant natural resources including fish, deer, elk, berries, and roots. Initially called Revenue after its first settlers, the town eventually took its name from the nearby Sandy River, which explorer Meriwether Lewis named during his 1805 expedition. Sandy's early growth was tied to its location along the Barlow Road, one of the final sections of the Oregon Trail.
In the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, logging and sawmill operations became central to Sandy's economy, supported by the surrounding forests. German immigrants arrived during this period and contributed significantly to the city's development. The city was formally incorporated in 1911, and in 1919, Sandy made history by electing two women to its government: Blanche Shelley as mayor and Edna Esson to city council, both active business leaders in their community.
Sandy High School, founded in 1914, serves the city and surrounding communities including Boring and the Villages of Mount Hood. As of the 2020 census, Sandy had grown to 12,612 residents. The city has continued expanding with the Portland metropolitan area, making it one of Oregon's fastest-growing communities.
