If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Williams Bay and the surrounding Walworth County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Williams Bay, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Williams Bay — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Williams Bay customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Williams Bay or the surrounding Walworth County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Wisconsin involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Williams Bay, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Wisconsin environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Williams Bay is a village in Walworth County, Wisconsin, located on Geneva Lake alongside two other municipalities. With a population of 2,953 at the 2020 census, this lakeside community has a rich history spanning nearly two centuries. The village takes its name from Captain Israel Williams of Massachusetts, who settled in the area in 1837 along with several of his sons. During the early nineteenth century, surveyors plotting eastern roadways helped establish the surrounding region.
The village's character changed dramatically following the Great Chicago Fire of 1871, when it became a vacation destination for wealthy Chicagoans seeking refuge. That appeal persists today, drawing visitors from Chicago, Milwaukee, and beyond. A distinctive local tradition began in 1873 with mail jumping on Geneva Lake, a unique service where postal carriers deliver mail to lakeside piers by boat each year between June and September on behalf of the US Postal Service.
Williams Bay gained international prominence through the Yerkes Observatory, established by the University of Chicago in 1897. Designed by architect Henry Ives Cobb with grounds by John Charles Olmsted, the observatory houses the world's largest refracting telescope, a forty-inch instrument that achieved first light that same year. The facility became a major center for astronomical research and hosted the first meeting of the American Astronomical Society in 1899. Albert Einstein visited during his 1921 American tour. In 1965, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. led a three-day retreat at Conference Point Center to develop strategies for the Chicago Freedom Movement addressing racial segregation.
