If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Whitman and the surrounding Plymouth County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Whitman, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Whitman — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Whitman customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Whitman or the surrounding Plymouth County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Massachusetts involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Whitman, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Massachusetts environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Whitman is a town in Plymouth County, Massachusetts, located approximately twenty miles south of Boston on the western edge of the South Shore. With a population of 15,121 at the 2020 census, this residential community spans 7.0 square miles, making it the second smallest town in Plymouth County. The town's origins trace back to around 1675 when Europeans first settled the area then called Little Comfort. It separated from Bridgewater in 1712 as Abington, and later established South Abington as a separate parish in the nineteenth century before being incorporated as its own town on March 4, 1875. The town was renamed Whitman on May 3, 1886, in honor of Jared Whitman, a local lawyer who served in the state legislature in 1839 and 1840. Early industry in the town centered on shoemaking. Whitman holds a notable place in culinary history as the birthplace of the chocolate chip cookie, invented by Ruth Graves Wakefield at the Toll House Inn in the late 1930s. The inn burned completely on New Year's Eve 1984, and the site now holds a historical marker along with modern businesses. The town was also home to the Whitman Savings Bank, the first savings bank in the country to offer savings bank life insurance. Today, Whitman is served by the MBTA Commuter Rail system at Whitman station on the Kingston Line.
