A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Wheelwright, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Wheelwright — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Wheelwright customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Wheelwright or the surrounding Floyd County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Kentucky involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Wheelwright, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Kentucky environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Wheelwright is a home rule-class city located in Floyd County, Kentucky, nestled in the valley of the Right Fork Otter Creek. The city's population has declined significantly over recent decades, from 1,042 residents in 2000 to 509 at the 2020 census. The town's origins are rooted in coal mining. Before coal became the dominant industry, locals sustained themselves through farming and logging. In 1916, the Hall family sold their land to the Elk Horn Coal Company, which established a post office that year and named it Wheelwright after the company's president, Jere H. Wheelwright. The city was officially incorporated in 1917. The coal company constructed housing, stores, churches, schools, and medical facilities for miners and their families, at one point employing over 2,300 miners. Ownership of the mines changed hands several times, passing from Elk Horn to Inland Steel in 1930, then to Island Creek Coal in 1966. The mine closed during the 1970s, marking a turning point for the community. Following the mine's closure, the Kentucky Housing Corporation purchased the town, rehabilitated homes, and sold them to residents. The city is accessible via only one route, the Timothy Hall Memorial Bridge on state route 122, originally a metal structure replaced with concrete in 1959. In more recent years, Big Creek Missions has contributed to the region by establishing a Christian Mission Retreat Center and supporting Floyd County residents through architecture, landscaping, and food bank services.
