If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Sunriver and the surrounding Deschutes County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Sunriver, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Sunriver — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Sunriver customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Sunriver or the surrounding Deschutes County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Oregon involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Sunriver, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Oregon environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Sunriver is a planned residential and resort community spanning 3,300 acres in Deschutes County, Oregon, located on the eastern side of the Deschutes River about fifteen miles south of Bend at the base of the Cascade Range. As of the 2020 census, the community had a population of 2,023, growing from 1,393 in 2010. The community includes residential homesites, recreational facilities, the Sunriver Resort, and a commercial development called The Village at Sunriver.
Sunriver's history is rooted in World War II. The area was formerly the site of Camp Abbot, a U.S. Army training facility designed to train combat engineers in simulated combat conditions. The camp opened in 1942 but was abandoned by June 1944, with most structures razed. One significant exception was the Officers' Club, which was preserved, renovated, and is now managed by Sunriver Resort as the Great Hall. The name Sunriver was chosen by developers John Gray and Donald V. McCallum. Initial condominiums were constructed in 1968 alongside the completion of Sunriver Lodge, and the master plan was finished in 1969 when developers began selling lots. The Sunriver post office was established on July 18, 1969, coinciding with the opening of public facilities. The area was also the site of the pioneer Shonquest Ranch.
The region experiences warm, dry summers with no average monthly temperatures exceeding 71.6 degrees Fahrenheit, classified as having a warm-summer Mediterranean climate. Sunriver is part of the Bend-La Pine School District and served by the Deschutes Public Library's Sunriver branch.
