A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Newry, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Newry — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Newry customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Newry or the surrounding Oconee County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in South Carolina involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Newry, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all South Carolina environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Newry is a small census-designated place in Oconee County, South Carolina, with a population of 199 according to the 2020 United States Census. The community has deep roots in the industrial history of the region and is recognized for its historic district, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The village was founded in 1893 by Captain William Ashmead Courtenay, a Civil War veteran who served in Robert E. Lee's Army of Northern Virginia and later became mayor of Charleston from 1879 to 1887. Courtenay and a group of investors established the Courtenay Manufacturing Company with initial capitalization of $134,500, purchasing 350 acres of land along the Little River. The company constructed a dam to power operations and built a cotton mill that began manufacturing cloth on June 14, 1894. The mill was immediately successful, returning 15 percent to investors in its first year. To support the mill, the company also constructed approximately 50 cottages, which eventually expanded to about 85 residences along with two churches and a combined post office and company store by 1910. Courtenay traditionally named the village after his ancestral home of Newry in Ireland, from which his father had emigrated in 1791.
Following Courtenay's death in 1908, his sons managed the mill until around 1920. In 1946, the company merged with several others to form Abney Mills. The company sold houses to residents in 1959, and the mill finally closed in July 1975, leading many residents to leave the community.
