If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Middlesex and the surrounding Middlesex County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Middlesex, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Middlesex — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Middlesex customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Middlesex or the surrounding Middlesex County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in New Jersey involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Middlesex, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all New Jersey environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Middlesex is a borough located in Middlesex County within New Jersey's Raritan Valley region. The community was incorporated on April 9, 1913, following a referendum held on May 6, 1913, when it separated from Piscataway Township. The borough takes its name from Middlesex, England. George Harris was elected as the first mayor, and the initial borough government included an elected council along with two constables and five appointed marshals for law enforcement.
The borough's educational heritage runs deep. The Harris Lane School, constructed in the 1790s, was the oldest school in Middlesex County, while other early learning spaces included the East Bound Brook School House and the Parker House. As the community expanded, more schools were built to serve the growing population. Our Lady of Mt. Virgin School became the borough's first parochial school when it opened in 1954. The community also developed fire protection services, with the Lincoln section organizing a volunteer fire company in 1905, followed by the establishment of four additional fire companies throughout the borough.
Today, Middlesex covers 3.51 square miles and had a population of 14,636 according to the 2020 census, marking the borough's highest decennial count. This represented an increase of 1,001 residents from 2010. The borough borders several municipalities in both Middlesex and Somerset counties and shares the Raritan Valley region with Dunellen, Bound Brook, and South Bound Brook.
