Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Labadieville customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Labadieville or the surrounding Assumption County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.

Labadieville is a census-designated place in Assumption Parish located along Bayou Lafourche in southeastern Louisiana, approximately 60 miles west of New Orleans and 13 miles south of Donaldsonville. The community, home to 1,715 residents according to the 2020 census, takes its name from Jean Louis Labadie, a French settler born in 1799 who established himself as a plantation and store operator before his death in 1854.
Before European arrival, the Chitimacha people, known for their basket weaving and complex social structure, inhabited the region from the Atchafalaya Basin to the lower Mississippi River. Following a twelve-year conflict with French colonists that ended in 1718, the Chitimacha maintained a presence near Lake Verret, where burial mounds remain documented today.
European settlement began in earnest after 1750, with French and Spanish colonists joined by Acadians deported from Nova Scotia in 1755. These settlers established farms along the bayou and contributed to the development of Cajun culture. Canary Islanders and Germans from the German Coast further diversified the population.
Catholicism shaped the community's development significantly. Father Charles Menard conducted the first mission in 1842, and a chapel was built in 1847. St. Philomena Catholic Church, formally established in 1855 and rebuilt in 1888, now appears on the National Register of Historic Places. The parish also founded the Institute of the Immaculate Conception in 1871.
During the Civil War, Labadieville witnessed the Battle of Georgia Landing on October 27, 1862, when Union General Godfrey Weitzel's 4,000 troops defeated approximately 1,392 Confederate soldiers under General Alfred Mouton, securing Union control of the region's valuable sugar plantations. Following Reconstruction, sugarcane remained the dominant crop, and the 1905 construction of the Cancienne Canal improved drainage and connectivity throughout Assumption Parish.
