If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Haslett and the surrounding Ingham County area — running or not, any make, any model, free same-day towing.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Haslett, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time. Same-day is usually available. We come right to you in Haslett — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Haslett customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we can usually get a truck out to you the same day — especially if you're anywhere in Haslett or the surrounding Ingham County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Call before noon and we'll do everything we can to make it happen that afternoon.
Transferring a car in Michigan involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Haslett, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Michigan environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Haslett is a census-designated place in Ingham County, Michigan, located mostly within Meridian Charter Township with a small portion extending into Williamstown Township. According to the 2020 census, Haslett had a population of 19,670. The community maintains its own school district and post office, which operates under the 48840 ZIP code.
The area takes its name from James and Sarah Haslett, who founded the Nemoka Spiritualist Camp on the shore of Pine Lake, originally known as Lake Lansing. By the late 1800s, thousands of spiritualists gathered at Haslett Park for summer meetings, readings, lectures, and seances. James Haslett envisioned the camp as the National Headquarters for the spiritualist movement, but his death in 1891 and the movement's subsequent decline led his widow to sell the land to the Haslett Park Association in 1898. The new owners transformed the property into a summer recreational destination, eventually adding a figure-8 wooden roller coaster and carnival rides to create Lake Lansing Amusement Park. With railroad service and the Lansing Trolley line connecting the community to Michigan's state capital, the area flourished as a recreation center. Today, Haslett continues this tradition, hosting Lake Lansing Parks North and South, portions of the Inter-Urban Pathway, and numerous other parks and recreation facilities. The community's appeal was recognized in 2007 when Business Week ranked Haslett 42nd on their list of Best Places to Raise Your Kids.
