A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Hardwick, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Hardwick — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Hardwick customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Hardwick or the surrounding Caledonia County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Vermont involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Hardwick, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Vermont environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Hardwick is a town in Caledonia County in northeastern Vermont, with a population of 2,920 according to the 2020 census. The town center, formerly an incorporated village, became a census-designated place in 1988 and is home to 1,269 residents. Hardwick serves as a commercial center for the region's farming communities and contains the unincorporated villages of East Hardwick and Mackville.
The town's settlement was encouraged by the Bayley-Hazen Military Road, which General George Washington ordered constructed during the Revolutionary War to open Vermont's interior. Hardwick was chartered on August 19, 1781, to Danforth Keyes and 66 others, and permanent settlement began in 1793 when families named Norris arrived from New Hampshire. Early industries included sawmills, gristmills, tanneries, a woolen mill, and a carriage factory along the Lamoille River.
Following the Civil War, granite quarrying became the town's dominant industry. After the Portland & Ogdensburg Railway opened service through Hardwick, the town became known as the "Building Granite Center of the World." Stone was quarried in nearby Woodbury and finished in Hardwick, particularly at "Granite Junction" where rail lines met. By 1906, the industry employed 1,200 people, led by the Woodbury Granite Company. Hardwick granite was used in prestigious buildings nationwide, including the Pennsylvania State Capitol, Chicago City Hall, and the 1914 Post Office in Washington, D.C. The decline of the architectural granite industry in the 1920s and 1930s left Hardwick facing economic depression.
Today, agribusinesses employing sustainable agriculture techniques have brought new economic opportunity to the area, creating an estimated 75 to 100 jobs through 2008.
