If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.

A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Gibbon, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Gibbon — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Gibbon customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Gibbon or the surrounding Buffalo County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Nebraska involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Gibbon, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Nebraska environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Gibbon, a small city in Buffalo County, Nebraska, was founded in 1871 by Civil War veterans who sought to build a new community in the Great Plains. The city was named for Major General John Gibbon in honor of his service during the war. Originally the county seat of Buffalo County, Gibbon held this distinction only briefly before Kearney was voted to become the seat in 1874. Today, Gibbon is part of the Kearney Micropolitan Statistical Area and is conveniently located just a few miles north of Interstate 80, with U.S. Route 30 passing directly through the city. As of the 2020 census, Gibbon had grown to a population of 1,878 residents within its compact area of 0.87 square miles. The city has produced notable individuals, including Dick Cavett, the former television talk show host, and Edwin Sutherland, a respected sociologist and criminologist. Like many communities in the region, Gibbon experienced significant challenges from flooding in 2019, when the Wood River overflowed its banks multiple times throughout the year, affecting the town in March, July, and August.
