If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.

A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Franklin, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Franklin — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Franklin customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Franklin or the surrounding Johnson County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Indiana involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Franklin, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Indiana environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Franklin, the county seat of Johnson County, Indiana, is located approximately twenty miles south of Indianapolis. With a population of 25,313 according to the 2020 census, this community has deep roots in Indiana history. The city was platted in 1823 and named after Benjamin Franklin, with its post office established the following year. Franklin was officially incorporated as a city in 1861.
The community gained national recognition during the 1920s through the remarkable achievements of the Franklin Wonder Five, a high school basketball team led by Fuzzy Vandivier and coached by Ernest "Griz" Wagner. The team made history as the first high school squad to win the state championship for three consecutive years from 1920 to 1922. Several players later attended Franklin College under Wagner's coaching, where they earned the title of national college champions in 1923, famously declining an invitation to play against the professional New York Celtics.
Franklin College continues to be a defining feature of the city, drawing regional sports fans and audiences for art events. The community is also home to numerous historic sites listed on the National Register of Historic Places, including the Johnson County Courthouse, Franklin College buildings, and various residential and commercial landmarks. The city's character was captured in a notable 1940 Life magazine photo essay by Bernard Hoffman titled "A Small Town's Saturday Night," which depicted the everyday social life of Franklin residents on a typical weekend evening.
