A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Castleton, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Castleton — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Castleton customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Castleton or the surrounding Rutland County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Vermont involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Castleton, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Vermont environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Castleton is a town in Rutland County, Vermont, located about 15 miles west of Rutland and 7 miles east of the New York border. With a population of 4,458 at the 2020 census, Castleton has deep historical roots reaching back to the colonial period. Though chartered in 1761 by New Hampshire Governor Benning Wentworth, the town was not settled until 1770, when Amos Bird and Noah Lee arrived from Connecticut, among the first permanent residents. By 1777, the community had grown to 17 families.
Castleton played a notable role during the American Revolution. In May 1775, Ethan Allen and his Green Mountain Boys gathered here with Benedict Arnold to plan their attack on Fort Ticonderoga. The subsequent battles at Hubbardton, Bennington, and Saratoga marked a turning point in the Revolutionary War's northern theater. Fort Warren was constructed in the town in 1777.
Following independence, Castleton developed as an agricultural community before experiencing significant industrial growth. In the 19th century, slate and marble industries thrived in the area, while sawmills and gristmills provided early employment. The arrival of the railroad in 1854 spurred tourism around Lake Bomoseen, with elegant hotels and a trolley system drawing summer visitors. Despite several fires between 1900 and 1940, Castleton retains remarkable architectural heritage, including Federal and Greek Revival structures lining its Main Street, many designed by builder Thomas Royal Dake.
Today, Castleton is home to a campus of Vermont State University, which traces its origins to 1787, and continues as a vibrant community with strong connections to its storied past.
