There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Barton, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Barton — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Barton customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Barton or the surrounding Orleans County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.

Barton is a town in Orleans County, Vermont with a population of 2,872 according to the 2020 census. The community is notable for containing two incorporated villages, Barton and Orleans, with roughly equal populations in each and about half the town's residents living outside village boundaries. Only four other towns in Vermont share this distinction of having two incorporated villages.
The area has deep historical roots. The Abenaki and their ancestors inhabited this region for twelve thousand years as part of the larger Wabanaki confederacy. The state of Vermont officially recognized the Nulhegan Abenaki Tribe in 2011 and 2012, and the tribe maintains its headquarters in Barton today.
European settlement began with French traders and colonists, followed by Anglo-Americans in the late eighteenth century. After the American Revolutionary War, Barton was chartered on October 20, 1789, and granted to sixty Revolutionary War veterans, primarily from Rhode Island. The town was named after General William Barton and was previously known as Providence. Early Anglo-American settlers discovered that the area around Barton Pond had been a favored Abenaki camping ground.
Barton's economy was historically sustained by granite quarries, with seven operating in the area around 1900. The town reached its population peak of 3,506 in 1920. Railroad service arrived in 1858, with the first train coming in 1863. The community was also notable for its abolitionist residents, including Fred Kimball, who worked on the Underground Railroad before the Civil War.
