If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Alsea and the surrounding Benton County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Alsea, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Alsea — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Alsea customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Alsea or the surrounding Benton County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Oregon involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Alsea, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Oregon environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Alsea is an unincorporated community in Benton County, Oregon, situated along Oregon Route 34 and the Alsea River. The town takes its name from the river, whose name derives from the Alsea, a Native American tribe that lived at the river's mouth. European settlement in the area began in the early 1850s, when pioneers from the Willamette Valley moved to claim donation land. By 1855, the "Alseya Settlement" appeared on the Surveyor General's map, and the Alsea post office was established in 1871. Though logging once dominated the local economy, Alsea has transformed into a destination known for fishing on the Alsea River, particularly for steelhead, and serves as a popular stopping point on a well-traveled cycling loop. As of the 2023 Census estimates, the community has a population of 220. The area experiences warm, dry summers characteristic of a warm-summer Mediterranean climate. Alsea Charter School serves students from kindergarten through twelfth grade, with an enrollment of 321 as of 2024. The nearby Hayden Bridge, a historic covered bridge that crosses the Alsea River about two miles west of town, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. The community produced one notable figure: Thomas Benton Slate, who was raised in Alsea and later invented the first commercially viable method of producing dry ice before financing the construction of an aluminum-hulled airship.
