If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Adel and the surrounding Lake County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Adel, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Adel — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Adel customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Adel or the surrounding Lake County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Oregon involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Adel, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Oregon environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Adel is an unincorporated community in southeastern Lake County, Oregon, situated along Oregon Route 140 about thirty miles east of Lakeview in an arid, sparsely populated region. The surrounding Warner Valley, characterized by numerous marshes and shallow intermittent lakes, has supported human presence for more than ten thousand years. Native Americans, particularly the Kidütökadö band of Northern Paiute, frequented the valley and nearby Hart Mountain, leaving behind petroglyphs, hunting blinds, and obsidian tool fragments as evidence of their long occupation.
Euro-American settlement developed in the late nineteenth century around sheep grazing and cattle ranching. Irish Catholic immigrants found work as shepherds, and their heritage remains woven into the community's character. A stagecoach line connected early Adel to Fort Bidwell in northern California three times weekly. The post office, established in 1896, was named either for a former sweetheart of the landowner or for a local cow named Leda, with the spelling reversed. Crump Lake, immediately north of Adel and covering about eighty-five hundred acres, is named after Thomas Crump, who settled there in the eighteen nineties.
Today, Adel maintains modest infrastructure including a combined store, restaurant, and bar, a post office, an elementary school, and a church. The community sits at forty-four hundred forty-seven feet above sea level in a steppe climate with cold winters and warm summers. The region's geothermal features, including hot springs and a once-active geyser, continue to attract interest for potential energy development.
