If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and hand you cash. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Wrightwood and the surrounding San Bernardino County area — running or not, any make, any model, free same-day towing.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Wrightwood, including:
Three steps from your first call to cash in hand. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time. Same-day is usually available. We come right to you in Wrightwood — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and hands you cash before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Wrightwood customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we can usually get a truck out to you the same day — especially if you're anywhere in Wrightwood or the surrounding San Bernardino County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Call before noon and we'll do everything we can to make it happen that afternoon.
Transferring a car in California involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Wrightwood, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all California environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Wrightwood is a census-designated place located 77 miles northeast of Los Angeles in San Bernardino County, nestled in the pine-covered San Gabriel Mountains at an elevation of 6,208 feet. The community has grown significantly since its origins as cattle ranches developed in the nineteenth century by Nathan and Truman Swarthout. By the 1920s, after ranches owned by Sumner Wright were subdivided into residential and commercial lots, a true community took root. The area's high elevation and north-facing slopes attracted early ski enthusiasts, leading to the development of a ski area originally known as Big Pines. After World War II, the ski area expanded with a new chairlift and the Sepp Benedikter Ski School opening for the 1946-47 season. Improved highway connections to the Cajon Pass made Wrightwood increasingly accessible. Once primarily a vacation destination, Wrightwood transformed into a permanent community, with its population growing from 4,525 in 2010 to 4,720 by the 2020 census. The area has faced natural disasters in recent years, including mandatory evacuations during the Blue Cut Fire in 2016, evacuation warnings during the Bobcat Fire in 2020, and a complete town evacuation during the Bridge Fire in 2024. Today, Wrightwood's Mediterranean climate, moderated by its highland position, supports a diverse community served by the Snowline Joint Unified School District and various local services established through the Wrightwood Community Service District.
