A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Sumner, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Sumner — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Sumner customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Sumner or the surrounding Chariton County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Missouri involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Sumner, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Missouri environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Sumner is a small city in Chariton County, Missouri, with a population of 78 at the 2020 census. Named in honor of U.S. Senator Charles Sumner, the community's origins trace back to early exploration by the sons of Daniel Boone and Thomas Stanley, who established a trading post near present-day Sumner prior to Missouri statehood in 1821. The area was originally known as Crossland, but the arrival of the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad, combined with the Wabash railroad's decision to relocate its depot from the nearby larger village of Cunningham to Sumner, determined the community's future growth. Joel H. Wilkerson laid out Sumner in June 1882, and that fall J.M. Vanes constructed the first home, soon followed by the Commercial Hotel. The Sumner Star newspaper launched in 1890.
Sumner's identity became inextricably linked with waterfowl when Congress established Swan Lake National Wildlife Refuge just south of the community in 1937. Located on a migratory flyway, the area attracted enormous numbers of geese, reaching over 100,000 by the 1980s and 1990s. This abundance earned Sumner the title "Wild Goose Capital of the World" and brought hunters who supported local businesses. The community began holding a yearly Goose Festival in 1955, continuing each October with music, contests, food and a parade. In 1976, residents commissioned a monumental statue called "Maxie," a fiberglass and metal goose standing over forty feet tall with a sixty-five-foot wingspan, weighing more than 5,000 pounds.
