If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Stringtown and the surrounding Atoka County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Stringtown, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Stringtown — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Two questions. Tells you exactly where you stand.
Do you have the title in your name?
Is there still a loan or lien on the car?
This includes title loans, and any bank or lender listed as lienholder.
Clean title, no lien. Have the title, a photo ID, and the keys ready at pickup — our driver brings the rest of the paperwork.
Get my cash offerA missing title usually isn't a dealbreaker. Bring a photo ID and the vehicle registration if you have it. We handle no-title sales regularly — just tell us your situation when you call.
Get my cash offerA car with an active lien or title loan can't be sold until the lender releases it. Pay off the balance, get the lien release from your lender, and the title becomes yours to sell. Once that's done, give us a call — we'll buy it.
Look at the front of your title — if a bank or lender is printed in the lienholder section, there's a lien on the car. If you financed it and haven't paid it off, assume there is one. Still unsure? Call us and we'll work through it with you.
Call 619-762-2001Without the title in hand, the quickest way to know is to contact the lender you financed through, or request a title record from your state's motor vehicle office. If you never financed the car, there's almost certainly no lien. Call us and we'll help you sort it out.
Call 619-762-2001A missing or lost title doesn't stop you from selling your car in Stringtown. Title rules are set at the state level, and Oklahoma has its own process for signing a car over, replacing a lost title, and selling when you're still making payments. When you sell to us, our driver brings the paperwork and walks you through every step at pickup — but if you want the full picture first, we put together a plain-English guide just for Oklahoma.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Stringtown customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Stringtown or the surrounding Atoka County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Oklahoma involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Stringtown, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Oklahoma environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Stringtown is a small town in Atoka County, Oklahoma, with a population of 419 as of the 2020 Census. Located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 69 and State Highway 43, it serves as the second largest town in the county. The town's name has uncertain origins, with sources suggesting either a misspelling of Springtown, referring to a local sulphur spring, or a reference to businesses strung out along the railroad tracks. A post office was established here in 1874, and the Missouri, Kansas, and Texas Railway was built through the area in 1872 as part of its route between Parsons, Kansas and Dallas, Texas.
Stringtown's history carries significant weight. In 1932, the town witnessed the first killing of a lawman by the Barrow Gang when Clyde Barrow opened fire on Sheriff C. G. Maxwell and his deputy. During World War II, the area hosted both an internment camp for Austrian inventor Fritz Johann Hansgirg and later facilities for Japanese Americans and German prisoners of war. A devastating fire in 1954 destroyed much of the town, including the sawmill and cotton gin that had once been major employers. Today, the nearby Mack H. Alford Correctional Center and the Southwest Stone Company provide employment for the region. The town celebrates its heritage annually with the Good Ole Days Festival each September, featuring a parade, cookout, and concert.
