If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Springfield and the surrounding Fairfax County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Springfield, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Springfield — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Springfield customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Springfield or the surrounding Fairfax County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Virginia involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Springfield, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Virginia environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Springfield is an unincorporated community in Fairfax County, Virginia, situated in Northern Virginia within the Washington Metropolitan Area. The community encompasses four ZIP codes that collectively had a population of 108,621 according to the 2020 Census. Springfield was founded in 1847 around the Orange and Alexandria Railroad's Daingerfield Station, named after Springfield Farm, which belonged to Henry Daingerfield, an Alexandria businessman serving on the railroad's board. The area experienced significant historical events during the Civil War, including a skirmish at the post office in 1861 and a Confederate raid in 1863. For much of its early existence, Springfield remained a rural crossroads until the mid-twentieth century, when real estate developer Edward Carr recognized opportunity in the area near the newly opened Henry Shirley Highway. Suburban development accelerated rapidly, with the population growing from approximately 1,000 in 1950 to over 10,000 by 1960 and past 25,000 by 1970. The 1970s and 1980s transformed Springfield into a major retail and commercial hub with the opening of Springfield Mall and surrounding shopping centers. Today, Springfield is dominated geographically by the interchange of I-95, I-395, and the Capital Beltway, with a significant commercial district surrounding this major transportation hub while the remainder of the community remains primarily residential in character.
