If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Roy and the surrounding Harding County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Roy, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Roy — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Roy customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Roy or the surrounding Harding County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in New Mexico involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Roy, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all New Mexico environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Roy is a small village located in Harding County in northeastern New Mexico, situated off State Road 39 in the state's plains region. According to the 2020 census, the village is home to 192 residents. The community was founded by ranchers Frank and William Roy, with Frank serving as the first postmaster when the village was established in 1901. Originally located two miles west of its present site, Roy was relocated in 1902 after the Dawson Railway was constructed through the area, connecting Tucumcola to the coal fields at Dawson. The village was incorporated in 1916, then part of Mora County. The railroad's removal after 1950 marked a turning point for Roy, leading to significant economic decline that has persisted for nearly seven decades. Despite its small current population, the village's historical importance is reflected in its layout of more than forty city blocks. Roy has produced notable figures, including Tommy McDonald, an NFL Hall of Famer who played wide receiver, and musician Bob Wills, both born in the village. The community also gained attention as a filming location for the 2009 comedy film Did You Hear About the Morgans? Today, Roy remains a quiet reminder of northeastern New Mexico's ranching and railroad heritage.
