If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Riverview and the surrounding Hillsborough County area — running or not, any make, any model, free same-day towing.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Riverview, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time. Same-day is usually available. We come right to you in Riverview — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Riverview customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we can usually get a truck out to you the same day — especially if you're anywhere in Riverview or the surrounding Hillsborough County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Call before noon and we'll do everything we can to make it happen that afternoon.
Transferring a car in Florida involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Riverview, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Florida environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Riverview is an unincorporated census-designated place in Hillsborough County, located south of Brandon. The community has grown substantially in recent decades, with its population reaching 107,396 in the 2020 census, up from 71,050 in 2010. The area's roots run deep, tracing back to 1885 when Riverview was founded on the north shore of the Alafia River. The river's name translates to "River of Fire," named for the phosphorus on the early riverbottom that glowed at night. Before Riverview's establishment, settlers had occupied the south side of the river in an area known as Peru, an indigenous name meaning "straight part of the river," which existed for nearly a century as one of central Florida's oldest settlements. The two communities were initially connected by ferry and later by bridge, though postal confusion between them persisted until Riverview's name came into official use by the post office in the early 1940s, when the two areas merged. The area's first school was built in 1893 inside the Peru Baptist Church. Riverview achieved another distinction when Emmet and Myrtle Tope established Florida's first commercial poultry farm here in 1921. Today, the area continues to serve the broader Tampa Bay region, with many of the region's radio and television stations broadcasting from an antenna farm on Boyette Road. Riverview is also home to Bell Creek Nature Preserve.
