If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Post and the surrounding Garza County area — running or not, any make, any model, free same-day towing.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Post, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Post — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Post customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Post or the surrounding Garza County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Texas involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Post, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Texas environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Post is the county seat of Garza County, Texas, situated at the crossroads of U.S. Routes 84 and 380 on the rolling plains at the foot of the Llano Estacado. The city was founded in 1907 by C. W. Post, the breakfast cereal manufacturer, who purchased 200,000 acres of ranchland and established it as a utopian colonizing venture. Post envisioned the community as a model town, with the Double U Company constructing trim houses, the Algerita Hotel, a gin, and a textile plant while planting trees along every street and prohibiting alcoholic beverages and brothels. A post office was established on July 18, 1907, with Frank L. Curtis as the first postmaster. The town incorporated in 1914 under the name Post, the same year of C. W. Post's death. By then, the community had grown to include a bank, newspaper, school, churches, and various professional services.
The local economy developed around several key industries. Postex Cotton Mills, which began production in 1913, became particularly significant, eventually producing six million yards of cloth annually and employing hundreds of workers before its closure. The Santa Fe Railway reached the town in 1910, facilitating growth and commerce. Throughout its history, oilfield service companies, farming, and ranching have remained important to Post's economy. The population peaked at 4,800 in 1964 during the oil industry's development. Today, Post continues as a regional center with its newspaper, the Post Dispatch, and various civic institutions serving the community.
