If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Phoenix and the surrounding Jackson County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Phoenix, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Phoenix — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Phoenix customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Phoenix or the surrounding Jackson County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Oregon involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Phoenix, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Oregon environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Phoenix is a city of about 4,475 residents located in Jackson County, Oregon, in the Rogue Valley region. Situated just three miles southeast of Medford along Interstate 5, Phoenix is part of the Medford Metropolitan Statistical Area and occupies 1.44 square miles in the southern end of the Rogue River Valley, near the Siskiyou Mountains and the California border.
The town has deep roots in Oregon's settlement history. Brothers Hiram and Samuel Colver arrived around 1850, with Samuel laying out the town in 1854. Early industry flourished as Milton Lindley operated a sawmill providing timber in 1855, while Sylvester M. Wait owned a flouring mill. The settlement was briefly known locally as Gasburg before Wait, an agent for the Phoenix Insurance Company of Hartford, Connecticut, gave the community its official name and established its post office in 1857. The town of Waitsburg, Washington, was later named in Wait's honor.
Phoenix experiences a hot-summer Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and cool, wet winters. The area's record high temperature reached 115 degrees Fahrenheit on June 27, 2021, while the record low was minus 8 degrees Fahrenheit on December 9, 1972.
The community faced significant challenges in September 2020 when the Almeda Drive Fire devastated Phoenix along with neighboring Talent and parts of Medford and Ashland. The fire destroyed approximately 2,800 homes and commercial buildings. Authorities determined the fire was human-caused, with investigations ongoing into its origins. Today, the Bear Creek Greenway, a biking and hiking trail, passes through Phoenix, connecting it to nearby communities.
