If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Millard and the surrounding Douglas County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Millard, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Millard — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Millard customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Millard or the surrounding Douglas County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Nebraska involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Millard, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Nebraska environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Millard began as a planned town laid out in 1870 by Ezra Millard, for whom it was named. The community established its post office in 1873, marking its growing importance in southwest Omaha. The town incorporated in 1885 and operated independently for nearly a century until it was annexed by the city of Omaha in 1971 following lengthy legal proceedings. Though the city absorbed Millard, the Millard Public Schools system remained independent, eventually coming under the Learning Community's taxing authority while preserving its separate governance structure.
Today, Millard is a vibrant neighborhood in southwest Omaha, centered near the intersection of Millard Avenue and L Street. The area extends from roughly 108th Street on the east to 180th Street on the west, and from Blondo Street on the north to Harrison Street on the south. As of 2019, Millard was home to an estimated 110,480 residents across approximately 40,000 households, with a population density of 3,003.7 per square mile. The community is predominantly white, at 87 percent, with growing Asian and Hispanic populations. The median household income of $92,552 reflects a generally prosperous area, with less than 5 percent of residents living below the poverty line.
The Millard Public Schools system serves the area with 25 elementary schools, six middle schools, and four high schools, including several International Baccalaureate programs at Aldrich and Black Elk elementary schools and North Middle and North High schools.
