A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Matawan, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Matawan — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Matawan customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Matawan or the surrounding Monmouth County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in New Jersey involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Matawan, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all New Jersey environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Matawan is a historic borough in Monmouth County, New Jersey, situated near Raritan Bay in the larger Raritan Valley region. As a commuter town within the New York Metropolitan Area, it has experienced steady growth, with a population of 9,565 residents according to the 2020 census, representing an increase of 755 people from the previous decade.
The borough's name has Native American roots, derived from the Lenape word "Mechananienk," which Dutch settlers adapted to "Matovancons." The precise meaning remains uncertain, with scholars suggesting it may mean "where two rivers come together," "bad riverbank," or even "bad fog," possibly referencing conditions along Raritan Bay.
Dutch settlers established the community in the 17th century, with Scotch-Irish settlers arriving in 1686. The town grew significantly during the 18th century as docks along Matawan Creek transformed it into the primary port for Monmouth County trade. Wealthy merchants and tradesmen built substantial homes along Main Street, many of which still stand today.
Matawan played an important role during the Revolutionary War. The Burrowes Mansion on Main Street, built in 1723, became a site of conflict in 1778, and local Patriots used whaleboats from Lake Matawan to attack British ships. The area also produced notable figures, including Philip Freneau, known as the "Poet of the Revolution," who established the Jersey Chronicle, Monmouth County's first newspaper, in 1795.
The invention of the steamboat in the 1830s spurred further growth, and a building boom between 1820 and 1870 created many of the streets that define the borough today. Industries including lumber mills, shipping operations, brickyards, and ceramic production flourished during this period.
