If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Marne and the surrounding Ottawa County area — running or not, any make, any model, free same-day towing.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Marne, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Marne — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Marne customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Marne or the surrounding Ottawa County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Michigan involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Marne, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Michigan environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Marne is an unincorporated community in Wright Township of Ottawa County, Michigan, located approximately twelve miles northwest of downtown Grand Rapids. Covering 2.19 square miles, Marne sits conveniently off exit 23 on Interstate 96, with its ZIP code 49435 serving areas in southern and eastern Wright Township as well as portions of neighboring Tallmadge and Alpine townships.
The community has deep historical roots dating back to 1852, when it received its first post office. Originally called Berlin due to its many German settlers, the community was platted in 1857. The name changed to Marne in 1919 as a response to anti-German sentiment during World War I, honoring soldiers who fought in the Second Battle of the Marne. Despite the official name change, Berlin's legacy remains visible throughout the area in landmarks like Berlin Baptist Church, the Berlin Fairgrounds, and the Berlin Raceway. The community also once served as a stop on the historic Grand Rapids, Grand Haven & Muskegon interurban railroad, with the original depot still standing today as a restaurant.
Marne has produced notable residents, including Ed Cole, an automotive executive for General Motors who was born here when his father operated a dairy farm. Today, the community serves as a trailhead for the Musketawa Trail and is home to township offices. Education in the area is provided by Kenowa Hills Public Schools. According to 2011 census data, Marne had a population of 3,177 with a median household income of $64,245.
