A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Luke, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Luke — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Luke customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Luke or the surrounding Allegany County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Maryland involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Luke, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Maryland environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Luke is a small town in Allegany County, Maryland, situated along the Potomac River just upstream of Westernport. Originally known as West Piedmont, it was settled in the early 1770s by the Davis brothers, Henry and Thomas, who established a sawmill at the site. The mill produced cross-ties for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad as it expanded westward. In 1888, William Luke purchased the property and founded the Piedmont Pulp and Paper Company with his sons, eventually forming the West Virginia Pulp and Paper Company in 1897. The railroad named its stop after William Luke when establishing service to the area.
The town grew substantially around the paper mill, which became the largest private employer in Allegany County. Other industrial ventures supported the community, including a nearby gun factory along the Savage River that supplied muskets for the United States Army, an automobile manufacturing plant where the Maryland Steamer was produced, and a post card factory. As Luke prospered, the town established a two-room schoolhouse and later built a larger school that opened in September 1913, serving grades one through eight for forty-six years before closing in 1959.
The paper mill changed ownership several times, becoming Westvaco in 1969, then Meadwestvaco in 2002. Despite its economic importance, the mill faced environmental challenges, including EPA designation as one of Maryland's largest mercury polluters. In 2019, Verso Corporation, which had acquired the mill, announced its closure effective June 30, 2019, devastating the local economy and affecting the broader tri-towns region. As of the 2020 census, Luke had a population of 85.
