A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Hazard, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Hazard — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Hazard customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Hazard or the surrounding Sherman County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Nebraska involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Hazard, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Nebraska environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Hazard is a small village located in Sherman County, Nebraska. The community was established in 1886 when the Grand Island & Wyoming Central Railroad extended its line to that location. According to the 2020 United States census, the village had a population of 57 residents.
Geographically, Hazard covers a total area of 0.26 square miles, consisting entirely of land. The village is home to a close-knit community with a modest number of households and families. Census data from earlier decades shows that the population has remained relatively stable, with 70 residents recorded in 2010 and 66 in 2000, reflecting the small-town character that has persisted through the years.
Hazard gained unexpected national attention when it became the inspiration for a Richard Marx song of the same name. Marx chose the town's name because he appreciated the lyric "this old Nebraska town" and contacted the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce requesting a list of two-syllable Nebraska towns. He found Hazard particularly appealing for its double meaning, though the song's lyrics reference a river that the actual town does not possess, though a muddy creek does run through the area. Despite the song's somewhat unflattering portrayal of the town, residents responded graciously, inviting Marx to serve as Grand Marshal of Sherman County's Fourth of July parade in 1993, an invitation the musician accepted.
