A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Gassaway, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Gassaway — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Gassaway customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Gassaway or the surrounding Braxton County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in West Virginia involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Gassaway, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all West Virginia environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Gassaway is a town in Braxton County, West Virginia, with a population of 769 at the 2020 census. Incorporated in 1905, the town was named for Henry Gassaway Davis, who served as the Democratic Party's nominee for Vice President of the United States in 1904. The town's location is notable for sitting approximately seven miles north of the geographic center of West Virginia.
The town's origins are rooted in railroad development. Gassaway was originally established at the junction of two divisions of the Coal and Coke Railway, with one line running from Charleston and the other from Elkins. The central location proved ideal for building maintenance shops that could facilitate transitions between the relatively flat Charleston division, which used standard equipment, and the more mountainous Elkins division, which required heavier engines. Laid out in 1904, the town quickly developed with hotels, a bank, stores, schools, a hospital, office buildings, and churches to serve its growing population. By 1915, the Coal and Coke Railway Company completed a depot to provide passenger service, a structure that still stands today and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.
Situated along the Elk River at an elevation where hot, humid summers and generally mild to freezing winters characterize the climate, Gassaway has maintained its character as a small Appalachian community. The town covers 1.22 square miles and has produced notable residents including computer scientist George Cogar, paleoclimatologist Lonnie Thompson, and architect Levi J. Dean.
