If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Chamblee and the surrounding DeKalb County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Chamblee, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Chamblee — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Chamblee customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Chamblee or the surrounding DeKalb County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Georgia involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Chamblee, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Georgia environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Chamblee is a city in northern DeKalb County, Georgia, located northeast of Atlanta. According to the 2020 census, the city had a population of 30,164. The area was originally composed of dairy farms until the late nineteenth century, when two railroad lines intersected there, creating a settlement called Roswell Junction. When the United States Postal Service established a post office, officials chose the name Chamblee from a list of petitioners, finding it distinct from the nearby town of Roswell. Chamblee was incorporated in 1907.
The city played an important role during both World Wars. During World War I, it hosted Camp Gordon, which housed 40,000 servicemen and spurred a significant building boom. The camp reopened as a Navy Flight Training Center during World War II. After the war, Chamblee grew as a manufacturing center, particularly benefiting from the proximity to the General Motors plant in neighboring Doraville and industrial development along Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.
By the 1980s, as the industrial base declined, Chamblee transformed into a multicultural hub. Affordable housing attracted immigrants and refugees from around the world, making it increasingly diverse by the time of the 1996 Summer Olympics. The city continued evolving in the 2000s with new infrastructure, including a city hall built in 2002, and strategic annexations that significantly expanded its population. By 2020, Chamblee's population had tripled from roughly 9,800 residents in 2010. Today, the city remains a vibrant, diverse community known for its immigrant-owned businesses, particularly along the Buford Highway Corridor, and its advantageous location near major transportation routes.
