A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Brookside, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Brookside — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Brookside customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Brookside or the surrounding Jefferson County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Alabama involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Brookside, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Alabama environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Brookside is a town in north-central Jefferson County, Alabama, with a population of 1,253 according to the 2020 census. Once a vibrant mining community, Brookside's history is deeply rooted in the coal industry. The Brookside mine opened in 1886 and was purchased a year later by the Sloss Iron and Steel Company, which used the coal as fuel for their Birmingham blast furnaces. The town was incorporated in 1898 and takes its name from Five-Mile Creek, which flows through the area.
What sets Brookside apart is its distinctive Eastern European heritage. In the early twentieth century, Sloss recruited skilled laborers internationally, and many Czechoslovak immigrants and their families settled in Brookside to work the mines. This cultural influence became central to the town's identity. A Russian Orthodox church was founded and became one of the first built south of the Mason-Dixon line. Mining operations fluctuated significantly between 1910 and 1920, with worker numbers ranging from 54 to over 600. The 1920 Alabama coal strike, combined with declining coal markets, led to the mine's permanent closure in 1921.
Today, Brookside retains its Eastern European character. Saint Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, founded in 1894, continues to serve approximately 70 congregants and underwent restoration in 1965. Each November, the annual Russian/Slavic Food Festival celebrates the town's heritage, drawing visitors for traditional dances, food, and community fellowship. This small town stands as a testament to the immigrant experience and the industrial heritage of Alabama's coal mining region.
