A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Barren Springs, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Barren Springs — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Barren Springs customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Barren Springs or the surrounding Wythe County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Virginia involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Barren Springs, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Virginia environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Barren Springs is an unincorporated community in Wythe County, Virginia, situated along Virginia State Route 100, approximately 10.7 miles north-northwest of Hillsville and just over 11 miles south of Pulaski. The landscape is defined by the New River and its tributaries, surrounded by the mountains and hills that rise from their banks.
The area's human history spans centuries. First Nations peoples, particularly the Catawba and Cherokee, were the original inhabitants. European settlers began arriving in the late 18th century, primarily of Scottish, Irish, and German descent, establishing themselves mainly as farmers. The late 19th and early 20th centuries brought industrial development when lead mines opened in the region, providing employment for local residents. The railroad followed this expansion, spurring construction of hotels and stores. Schools and churches were organized to serve the growing community. Lead mining remained the economic backbone through the mid-20th century until the mines closed.
Education evolved over time, beginning with a one-room school that served until the early 20th century, when a larger school was built in nearby Patterson. Mid-twentieth-century consolidation brought students to Jackson Memorial Elementary School, Austinville Elementary and Middle School, and Fort Chiswell High School. Fort Chiswell Middle School replaced Austinville Elementary and Middle School in 2001.
Today, Barren Springs maintains a diverse economy. Agriculture remains active, with local farms producing beef cattle, hogs, corn, and apples. New River tourism has become a major economic driver in recent years. General stores provide essential services, and retail expansion has occurred with Dollar General opening in late 2017 and Family Dollar in late 2018. The community, served by post office ZIP code 24313, had 1,087 residents in 2018, with estimates projecting 1,209 by 2026.
